Public education and community outreach is a major part of our programs. Through our proactive public education and outreach, we participate in special local events, where our staff interacts directly with the public through hands-on demonstrations and answer questions on pests and vector-related matters. The events in which we give our District direct community engagement opportunities with our ethnically diverse population throughout Alameda County.
